Part-Time Evening Program

The Welding ACE program focuses on developing skills pertaining to careers as a Welder.
Instruction and career training consists of 270 hours per Tier regarding welding techniques and practices. The adult part-time Welding ACE (Advanced Career Education) program is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE).
Instruction and training will include classroom lectures and discussion, laboratory demonstrations and paractice, as well as preparation for certification tests. Students will obtain the knowledge and skills necessary to perform welding techniques and utilize welding equipment. Students will enroll in either Tier I or Tier II. Tier I is designed for beginners and Tier II is designed for advanced welding students.
Courses are scheduled once per year. Class meetings will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings during the time from of 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on campus at the school.
The duration of Tier I (beginners) is 25 weeks. The duration of Tier II (advanced) is 25 weeks. Tier I and Tier II run simultaneously. The program begins in September and ends in March.
Certification may be obtained after successful completion of the courses according to each Tier and obtaining passing scores on exams for welding certifications.
