The Credit Bureau of the Virginias, Inc. recently honored two MCTEC students with $1,000 scholarships to attend school during the 2017-2018 school year.
Stephanie Lilly, a student in the Practical Nursing program, and Jordan Smith, an electrical technician student, were presented checks in the amount of $1,000 towards tuition and fees while enrolled in MCTEC.
The purpose of the foundation is to promote the quality of life within the former trade area of The Credit Bureau of the Virginias, Inc. by serving local charitable, scientific, and educational needs. Through an application process, one Practical Nursing student and one at large adult student are selected based on GPA, financial need, and residency within the nine county area encompassing Virginia and West Virginia.
MCTEC is honored to be included in the scholarship process, and would like to thank The Credit Bureau of the Virginias, Inc. for their generous gift.
